Located at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers, Koblenz is a beautiful destination full of sights. A highlight is Deutsches Eck, the iconic point where the two rivers meet, with the impressive equestrian statue of Emperor Wilhelm I. From here, you can take the cable car to Festung Ehrenbreitstein, a historic fortress with breathtaking views over the city and surrounding countryside. The Altstadt, with its narrow streets, historic buildings and cosy cafés, invites for a stroll. For a unique experience, take a Rhine or Moselle cruise past picturesque valleys, castles and vineyards. Finally, Koblenz is a paradise for wine lovers, with numerous opportunities to taste the delicious local Riesling wines from the Moselle region.
