Who is Casapilot?

Casa Pilot has been an international intermediary agency from Luxembourg since 2010 with a wide range of holiday homes in Europe. The offer includes villas, suites, country houses and chalets.

To give you peace of mind, we thoroughly check all accommodations from local partners and private hosts for our quality standards, performance, and reliability before including them in the Casapilot offer. In general, you pay your trip – or your rental price conveniently to Casapilot, we take care of the regulation with the respective provider for you.

Booking & Payment

How can I make a booking?

Online:

Select the desired number of nights (minimum 2) and click on an available period in the calendar. The price for the period will be displayed below the calendar.

If you want to book, click on "Book now".

  1. Enter your data and give your agreement to our terms and conditions. Click on "To summary".
  2. Check all data.

You complete the booking by clicking on "Book with obligation to pay". Your booking request will be confirmed online and by e-mail.


By phone

You can book by phone by contacting our customer service.


I would like to book a period but do not receive a price.

It is possible to book special periods for a single night, a special arrival time or an unusual period of stay on request. In that case, feel free to send us an email to info@casapilot.com.


How can I see which holiday homes are still available?

When you are searching online, only available holiday homes are displayed. Specify a month and/or length of stay of your choice in order to see the available accommodations for that period.

Next to the description of the house you will find the calendar. The green dates are available, and the red dates are already booked.

If you click on a date, the price of the accommodation for the selected period is visible. If no price appears, change the duration of stay or the period.


If I book online, how can I be sure that my booking was successful?

If you click on “Book with obligation to pay” in step 2 of the booking process, you will receive via e-mail a booking order. There you will also find your reservation number. Please also check the spam folder of your email account. We recommend that you save the booking request. If you do not receive a confirmation from us, please contact us.


What happens after the booking?

Within 2–3 business days, after confirmation by the owner, you will receive an email with all necessary payment information. It is possible that you have to pay the deposit and the additional costs together with the rent in advance. However, you will find a detailed list of all costs again in our payment information.

If you have any problems in making the payment, please contact our customer service. Three weeks before your stay we will send you by e-mail the travel documents with all important and necessary information for a pleasant stay.


When do I have to pay?

You pay around 30% of the total amount after the booking. The remaining amount is due eight weeks before arrival. If you pay in two installments, then you will receive a reminder via email one week before the second deadline. It the arrival is within 8 weeks; the whole payment must be done at once. In case of a last-minute booking, the payment must be fully paid and a proof of payment must be sent by mail to Casapilot.


To which account can I make the payment?

After confirmation from the owner, you will receive a link to our secure payment options. If you have trouble paying, please contact us.


Has my payment been received?

Once we have received your payment, we will send you a confirmation of payment.


Coupon Code

If you have a coupon code, enter it in the field "Remarks – Voucher code" when booking. After the booking, you will receive the payment information with the reduced price.


How do I know if youth groups are allowed in a vacation home?

At Casapilot, a group is considered a youth group if the average age is under 30. Youth groups are only allowed in selected vacation homes. To find out if youth groups are allowed, you can click on the vacation home of your choice and read in the description if youth groups are allowed. Also, at the bottom of the description of the respective house it is written either “yes”, “on request” or “no” for youth groups. If you are not sure, you can also send us an email.


How do I know if I can bring my dog to the cottage?

To find out if dogs are allowed, you can click on the vacation home of your choice and see if there is an icon of a dog under the title. If this is the case, your dog is welcome upon request. Also, at the bottom of the summary of the respective house, either “yes”, “on request” or “no” is written under “pets”.

My holiday

Where is the villa located?

After the payment has been fully completed, you will receive the travel documents 3 weeks before arrival, with address and contact details of the property owner.


Is an earlier check-in or a later check-out possible?

An earlier check-in or a later check-out is in general only possible if there is no other arrival or departure on the same day. Therefore, the landlord can only tell you about a few days before arrival whether an earlier arrival or a later departure is possible. Please contact the landlord 2–3 days before arrival.


Are bed linen and towels available?

If bed linen and towels are included, this will be indicated on your stay voucher. If this is not the case, you must bring your own bed linen and/or towels. Blankets and pillows are of course always on site.


Can I charge my electric car in the vacation home?

This depends on vacation home to vacation home. Please always read the house rules first and contact the landlord before charging your car. Charging your electric car is usually associated with additional costs.

Cancellation

Cancellation/Reebooking

Dissolution/Cancellation between the booking date and (but exclusive) 56 days before the beginning of the stay: 30% of the total price for the stay.

Dissolution/Cancellation between the 56th day (inclusive) and the 28th day (exclusive) before beginning of the stay: 60% of the total price for the stay.

Dissolution/Cancellation between the 28th day (inclusive) and the 7th day (exclusive) before the start of the stay: 90% of the total price for the stay.

Dissolution/Cancellation between the 7th day (inclusive) and before the start of the stay and thereafter: 100% of the total price for the stay


Flexi-Cancellation

When making your booking, you have the option of booking our Flexi-Cancellation. You can find the cancellation conditions of the Flexi-Cancellation here.

Please note that the Flexi-Cancellation can only be added up to 7 days (inclusive) after booking. For last-minute bookings (arrival within one month), the Flexi-Cancellation must be booked on the day of booking.
